During your stay, you’ll enjoy private and exclusive use of the whole Lodge - ideal for a gathering of family or friends. We believe everyone deserves a luxury break, and we’re passionate about sharing our accommodation Kaikoura holiday home with as many guests as possible!
Our rates begin at $395 for 2 people, per night. Extra guests cost more depending on length of stay and amount of guests. Discounts for stays of 3 nights or longer apply. One-night stays are accepted but are a bit more expensive to cover additional costs. Pets are free but please make us aware so we can accommodate.

Our accommodation rates are in New Zealand dollars and include GST (sales tax). We accept payment by Visa and Mastercard, and direct bank credit. Continental Breakfast provisions are included in your rate. Full breakfast provisions are available on request, at an additional cost of $20 pp/per day.

ATV Adventure
We’ll take you on an ATV excursion to Giant Tōtara (the South Island’s largest tōtara tree) Buckle up for an exciting ride through gorgeous farmlands and over rushing rivers, and then a short walk to the tree guided by us. It's a great way to get to know what Kaikoura is all about! The cost is only $75 pp and the round trip is about 2 hours in total.
Riders must be at least 18 years or have a parental guardian riding with them.
3 guests can fit in the ATV. 4 more guests can fit in a Land Cruiser that will follow the ATV (7 people per excursion). We also have a tractor with an attachment that carries 8 guests as an option as well.
The ATV, Land Cruiser, and tractor will be driven by Manakau Lodge Accommodation Kaikoura owners ONLY (Janice and Kim).
You must be able and willing to sign and listen to all safety information.
The trip takes a couple of hours depending on how long you’d like to stay at the Giant Totara/Puhi Peaks. The cost is $75 per person.
