Accommodation

Our four purpose-built guest rooms are spacious, elegantly appointed, and supremely comfortable.

Our guests’ comfort is our number one priority at Manakau Lodge. A great night’s sleep awaits in our specially-chosen, super-comfortable beds, with fine cotton linens and beautiful, luxurious Pendleton® woollen bed blankets. King size beds are the standard in our two Lodge Rooms, and our slightly larger Deluxe Rooms feature super-king beds, which can also be converted to twin singles on request.

Furnishings in the guest lounge and bedrooms are hand-made from New Zealand rimu, a native timber prized for its warm tones and rich natural beauty. Each room also comes with a pair of deep-cushioned armchairs, a 32-inch LCD television with satellite Freeview and Apple® TV, a writing desk with an ergonomic chair, and the most luxurious modern bathroom, with heated floor, warm towels, and a superb walk-in monsoon shower. Both Deluxe Rooms also have the added indulgence of a deep, free-standing bath.

Each room is fully air-conditioned and has its own veranda with a spectacular view: to one side of the Lodge, the majestic peaks of the mountains, snow-capped for most of the year; to the other, an ocean panorama, fabulous sunrises, and more often than not, a glittering night sky.

Manakau Lodge is not suitable for young children. We regret that we are unable to accommodate children under the age of 12 years. Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the Lodge.
